  • Spirit Day – Emoji Day

 

Highlights from this morning’s announcements:

Read first: “I would like to acknowledge that this school is situated upon traditional territories. The territories include the Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of Scugog, Hiawatha, Alderville First Nation and the Métis Nation. The treaty that was signed for this particular parcel of land is collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties of 1923 and applies to lands east of Woodbine Avenue. I also recognize the enduring presence of Aboriginal peoples on this land.”

  1. Best of luck to our Jr Girls at Wilkinson today as they play in their Slo Pitch tournament.
  2. Huge thanks to all Track and Field athletes and coaches who helped them prepare for our competition. We had a great day and are sending 13 students on to the conference finals June 7th at Birchmount.
  3. Teachers – all members of the Track and Field team get a participant ribbon. They are being kept in the office. (Mr.  Webb)
  4. A reminder to the boys Slo Pitch team to meet in the gym at morning recess.(Mrs. Pace)
  5. Eco-Club will meet today. See you all in Rm 6. ECO-TIGERS!
  6. Spirit Squad announced that tomorrow is Emoji Day!
