What’s coming up?

  • Tuesday October 22nd – Primary Choir begins
  • Friday October 25th @ 9am – Character Education Assembly “Responsibility”.  Everyone is welcome!
  • Friday October 25th- Movie night at Gledhill in the gym.  Doors open at 6pm, movie starts at 630pm.  Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse
  • Thursday October 31st @ 1245pm – Hallowe’en Parade

Highlights from today’s announcements:

  • Good morning!  Please stand for the Land Acknowledgement and our National Anthem.
  • We acknowledge we are hosted on the lands of the Mississaugas of the Anishinaabe , the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Wendat.  We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Metis and Inuit Peoples.

  • Today is Friday October 18th and it is Day 2 in our schedule.  Our character theme for October is Responsibility and here is something to think about.  “It’s not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do.” – Moliere
  • From Ms. Smith- I would like to congratulate Gledhill’s Cross Country Team on a wonderful day at Ashbridge’s Bay yesterday for the South Conference Finals.  Once again, I am very proud of how everyone behaved and the effort you all put forth, especially since it was so cold and windy.  We have four students who advanced to the City of Toronto Finals on Thursday October 24th- 2 grade four girls who placed 7th and 11th, as well as 2 grade five boys who place 1st(Such Conference Champion) and 2nd(silver medalist).  Qualifiers please meet me for our next practice on Monday at 8am.  Great job everyone!
