
Family Fest 2026 was a success! The weather was great (although windy), the kids enjoyed the games and activities, and the silent auction surpassed its fundraising goal!
A sincere thank you to everyone for participating in the event and supporting Gledhill Junior Public School. A special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time – Family Fest cannot happen without you! This includes many parent council members who organized the event or specific activities.
Thank you as well to the local business community for your support of the silent auction and Family Fest.
Together, Family Fest and the Silent Auction raised close to $16,000 for Gledhill, more than any other year!

Silent Auction
Dear Gledhill Community,
It is our pleasure to share that, with your incredible support, the 2026 Gledhill Silent Auction
raised $7,116.00, surpassing our goal of $7,000! Thank you for making this year’s fundraiser
such a wonderful success.
The proceeds will go directly toward enriching student learning
experiences and resources, helping our children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity and dedication of so
many members of our community. Thank you to our local business donors, our teachers and
families who created the beautiful gift baskets, and to Mme. Willoughby for coordinating staff
contributions. We are also deeply grateful to our silent auction team of parent volunteers who
gathered donations, managed the website and communications, staffed the table at Family
Fest, and prepared thank-you cards for our donors. Thank you Casey, Ashley, Karolina,
Jonathan, Danielle, Clare, and Tara.
A special thank you goes to Jessica Krecklo Naidu for creating the artwork featured on our
thank-you cards. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our office administrative staff, Faey
and Astrid, for coordinating prize pickups, and to Ms. Minos and Lian for keeping
communications running smoothly throughout the campaign.
To everyone who worked behind the scenes, brainstorming ideas, reaching out to donors,
spreading the word, and building excitement, thank you. Your passion, generosity, and
commitment to our students and school community are truly inspiring. We see and appreciate
the countless hours you devoted while balancing so many other responsibilities.
Together, we continue to create meaningful opportunities for our students and strengthen the
vibrant community that makes Gledhill Jr. Public School a great place to be/où il fait bon vivre.
