Gledhill is hosting a book fair Monday Dec 4-Thursday Dec 7 and we need your help! If you can volunteer your time, please use this link to sign up and take a trip down memory lane.

Please see the details below for the parent council meeting tomorrow, Nov 21.

We will have a high school student available for babysitting and pizza will be offered. First come, first serve.

Gledhill School Council is excited to offer Pizza Lunch days for all students who wish to participate (Kindergarten – Grade 5). These were a big hit last year and we’re happy to be offering it again!

Our next Pizza Lunch day is Friday, Nov 24. Deadline: Thursday Nov 16

Here are the details:

– Pizza is supplied by Pizza Pizza

– Your choice of cheese, pepperoni, dairy-free cheese or cheese with gluten-free crust

– $3 per slice (up to three slices per student may be ordered)

– Orders are placed through SchoolCash Online (you should have received an email directly from SchoolCash Online so check your junk mail if you cannot find it; alternatively, you can register/sign in here: https://tdsb.schoolcashonline.com)

– Order Deadline: Thursday, Nov 16, 2023

Kindly note that pizza orders cannot be changed once they have been placed, and there are no refunds for students who miss their lunch or who are absent on Pizza Lunch day. Be sure to place your order in advance as pizza will NOT be available for sale on the day of the Pizza Lunch.

Please continue to send snacks and drinks with your student(s) on these days, as only pizza will be offered to those who have placed an order.

All pizza orders contribute to Gledhill School Council’s fundraising efforts – thank you for supporting Gledhill and our students!

Thank you to all who came out for Saturday’s Parent Party! It was such a blast to party with you all! Stay tuned for more parent exclusive events in the future!

Join us Tuesday October 31 to watch the kids show off their costumes with a parade around the school yard!

East Toronto Coffee will be on site. $2 cash or tap with proceeds going to Gledhill’s fundraising efforts. We encourage you to bring your reusable mugs to limit waste but we will have some to-go cups available.

You still have time to join us at Saturday’s Gledhill parent party! Advanced tickets are on sale until Friday at 11:59 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

We have some incredible raffle prizes. Check out the logos below of the incredible community organizations that are supporting this night. Raffle and 50/50 tickets, as well as the bar, can be purchased with cash or card.

There will be Halloween games, prizes, a photo booth and dancing all evening! This is a great opportunity to meet more parents in the Gledhill community.

One week (plus a day!) to go until our parent event on Saturday, October 28th. Please join Gledhill Parents on Saturday, October 28th for a fantastic community builder for Gledhill parents! 

We will have a raffle for some incredible items that include:
– Camps from Bob Acton Sports AND Jack of Sports
– Tickets to a Toronto Argos Game
– Gift Certificates to The Auld Spot Restaurant and Metta Massage
– And much, much more!

There will also be a 50/50 draw, a prize for best costume, a photo booth done by Gledhill’s own Dan Ehrenworth and DJ Farhaan spinning the hits all night!
