Highlights from the morning announcements:

1. Photo retakes are tomorrow.
2. Best of luck to Talya who will be representing Gledhill at the city finals in cross-country.
3. Tomorrow is the new day for Ukulele Kids at lunch
4. Chess clubs are happening tomorrow at lunch for Primary students, and after school for Junior students.
5. Don’t forget about the Pizza Lunch this Friday!

Each year our librarian organizes a Scholastic Book Fair. It runs November 9th through 15th and gives parents and students a chance to purchase books in support of our school library. The fair will have some during school hours and some after school hours.

Highlights from the morning announcements:

1. A Makerspace Club for junior students is starting on Monday. A grade 2 and 3 Club is starting on Thursday. If you like to build, design, code and make robots, pick up a permission form from Ms. Kopka today. We are starting next week!
2. Staff: If you are interested in helping with the Remembrance Day assembly this year please come to a meeting today at lunch in room 30.
3. It is movie night at Gledhill! $1 at the door, $1 popcorn and $2 for pizza.

 The deadline to sign up for Pizza Lunches has been extended to MONDAY, OCTOBER 24th! If you haven’t already, please sign up online at http://www.GledhillSchoolCouncil.ca

You may sign up for one lunch at a time, or all 6 at once! If you prefer to order each lunch separately, just make sure your order is in by the Monday of the week of Pizza Lunch, to ensure your order is included.

2. Any junior girls interested in trying out for the junior girls’ basketball team please meet with Mr. Lambert in room 15 at lunch today to pick up a permission form. First practice will be held on Monday October 17th at 8am.
