Earlier today in the media, the TDSB announced it will be hosting a number of ward forum and community consultations in the coming weeks to discuss the 2014-2015 budget and proposed recommendations to address a $12.4M funding shortfall.
The first of these Community Budget Consultation meetings will be held for members of the Inner City Advisory Committee, Parent Academies, Ward 16 Council, and Beaches-East York Constituents at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Secord Elementary School, 101 Barrington Avenue. The primary focus of this presentation will be the issues of inner city children and communities within the TDSB.
We sincerely apologize for not providing you with more notice, but meeting dates and locations were only recently confirmed.
