Bikes, books, bouncy castles: Help Wanted!

There’s a little over a month left of this school year, which means there’s now a limited number of times for you to show your Gledhill love and volunteer at the school.  Please look at these opportunities and share widely!
Our annual Bike Rally is Thursday, June 8th. The bike rally is a fun and practical way to teach bike safety to the kids.  There is a morning session and afternoon session, and parents can do one or both. Please contact Andrea Egan at if you would like to volunteer.
It’s quite possible you’ve already seen evidence of the hard work of the Gledhill librarian, Ms Kopka — in the great books your kids bring home, in the Google slide shows they teach you to make, in the robots they’ve constructed out of Lego, or even in their media-savvy attitudes about the world around them.  Ms Kopka is always busy and could really use our help in organizing and shelving books as we come to the end of the year.  Please let her know if you can spare a couple of hours in the library.  Her email is

The Gledhill Family Fest is on Friday, June 16, after school.  They are looking for a wide range of volunteers.  This is always a fun event, and it’s an opportunity for people who work during the day to volunteer a bit too!  (Lucky!)
