Highlights from this morning’s announcements:
- Bike Rally is this Thursday, June 8th – in the morning! Ride your bike to school and then learn bike safety in our school yard with Officer John. Please return your permission forms ASAP. Forms were emailed and also paper forms went home in backpacks. Parents who can volunteer, please email nichols_andrea@hotmail.com.
- Due to the weather, Jump Rope for Heart will be postponed until next week. A message about which day will be sent out as soon as we know.
- The Yearbook will meet every lunch in the library including Wednesday.
- Mrs. Pace needs to see everyone who signed up for Grade 4-6 Ultimate Frisbee House League today at morning recess in the gym. If it is raining, the meeting is cancelled.
- Students – as some of you may have noticed, artwork to highlight native birds has been installed on Gledhill fences and stumps. These birds are awesome works of art created by our grade 3 students. Thank you for looking, but not touching!
- A reminder to all students that all library books are due back to the library by Thursday, June 8. Also, the library will be closed to students at recess in the afternoon for the month of June.
