Highlights from this morning’s announcements:

Read first: “I would like to acknowledge that this school is situated upon traditional territories. The territories include the Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of Scugog, Hiawatha, Alderville First Nation and the Métis Nation. The treaty that was signed for this particular parcel of land is collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties of 1923 and applies to lands east of Woodbine Avenue. I also recognize the enduring presence of Aboriginal peoples on this land.”

  1. All grade 5 and 6 boys and girls interested in participating on the co-ed volleyball team, please see Mrs Pace for the try out schedule.
  2. Today is International Francophone Day. It’s a day when French speaking people around the world celebrate their French culture and enjoy sharing it with others. Bonne journee de la francophonie mondiale!
  3. Junior Choir rehearsal today at lunch in the music room. Please remember we will also have a rehearsal TOMORROW at lunch as well.
