Highlights from this morning’s announcements:
Read first: “I would like to acknowledge that this school is situated upon traditional territories. The territories include the Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of Scugog, Hiawatha, Alderville First Nation and the Métis Nation. The treaty that was signed for this particular parcel of land is collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties of 1923 and applies to lands east of Woodbine Avenue. I also recognize the enduring presence of Aboriginal peoples on this land.”
- Tomorrow is International Day of Pink! (Students are encouraged to wear pink and please see bake sale details above)
- Junior Choir is today. Please bring outstanding permission forms or ticket orders for Massey Hall.
- Congratulations to the Co-Ed Volleyball Team who played a solid quarter final game against Brown School. We came up a bit short despite our best efforts. The school is proud of your accomplishments! (Mrs. Pace)
Please remember – Don’t give up, even when things get hard.
Have a TREMENDOUS Tuesday!
