What’s coming up?
Highlights from this morning’s announcements:
“I would like to acknowledge that this school is situated upon traditional territories. The territories include the Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of Scugog, Hiawatha, Alderville First Nation and the Métis Nation. The treaty that was signed for this particular parcel of land is collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties of 1923 and applies to lands east of Woodbine Avenue. I also recognize the enduring presence of Aboriginal peoples on this land.”
- Junior Choir is today at 1145. Please wait to be picked up from where you eat lunch.
- Spirit Squad meeting Wednesday afternoon recess in Rm 24
- Grade 1 Makerspace meets today in the library. Students, eat your lunch first and wait to be picked up at 1145. Bring all of your outdoor clothing with you.
- Eco-Club Message- Have you or your parents done any spring cleaning yet? It’s a great time to collect your used batteries and drop them off in our school collection bin. The batteries will be recycled and keep harmful chemicals out of our soil and water. Thanks for thinking of the planet!
