Planning a holiday teacher gift this year?
Please see the following communication from the TDSB re: Holiday Gift Giving recommendations
To support safe gift giving this year, Toronto Public Health makes the following recommendations:
· Consider gift cards as gifts.
· Consider donations to charitable organizations in lieu of gifts.
· When giving a teacher a gift, look for items that can be wiped down or ensure that the gift can be quarantined for 3 days prior to opening it. The teacher is to practice hand hygiene before and after touching the gift.
