Reminder: Terry Fox’s older brother Fred Fox is COMING TO GLEDHILL this morning (TUESDAY MORNING, SEPTEMBER 9th at 9 am!) He is coming to help kick-off another year of the MARATHON OF HOPE.
This year marks the 45th year of the marathon and the 24th that Gledhill has participated! We have helped to raise $101, 500 during that time. In addition to a presentation being given to the students by Mr. Fox, he has graciously allowed us to ask several questions about Terry, his family, and the Marathon of Hope.
There are several ways that YOU CAN BE PART OF THE MARATHON OF HOPE…
TODAY! – wear your Terry Fox, Canada themed, or Gledhill spirit wear clothing when Fred visits our school
IN PERSON! – Terry once said that to be a part of the Marathon of Hope, he hoped that each Canadian would donate $1.
