This year marks the 45th year of the marathon and the 24th that Gledhill has participated! We have helped to raise $101, 500 during that time.
There are several ways that YOU CAN BE PART OF THE MARATHON OF HOPE…
– DONATE: Terry once said that to be a part of the Marathon of Hope, he hoped that each Canadian would donate $1. Please use the link below to contribute and make sure to include the name of the child you are sponsoring. They will be added to a t-shirt draw for participating. – FAMILY WALK Following Curriculum Night, on September 29th, we will have a FAMILY WALK! We welcome you to join us in the backyard of Gledhill as we do laps of our school property to some uplifting music!
– RAFFLE: We have 2 rolls of never used, rolled TERRY FOX LOONIES that have been donated by a staff member. One student from each class will win a TERRY FOX loonie, with the remaining roll of loonies being raffled off. Tickets are $1 each and may turn that $1 into $25 Terry Fox Loonies. The raffle tickets will be sold beginning on September 22nd. More details to come. The winner will be announced the day after Curriculum Night.
