Coffee and Conversation … the Beginning!

coffee-2020_640

The coffee was poured and conversation was made with new friends.

Gledhill School Council’s 1st Coffee and Conversation was held Friday morning in the schoolyard. We had such a great time meeting with and listening to what Gledhill parents had to say.

While enjoying the coffee and yummy treats – donated by Gledhill parents and Oak Park Deli – parents also had the opportunity to listen to the “All You Need Is Love” assembly CD. Let’s just say we have a school full of stars!

We want thank all those behind the scenes that helped make this such a great event. ‘Coffee and Conversation’ will be back in two weeks – please join us then!

A Gledhill Student Shines! ~ Levi’s Story

Some of you may know Levi, he is a JK student at Gledhill in Mrs. D’Souza’s class. Levi has been featured in a promotional video for Special Olympics Canada which was filmed right here in our neighbourhood.  Lets join Levi in celebrating diversity in our community and inclusiveness at our school! Go Levi!
Here is a link to the video
Also, don’t forget to visit Staples from May 2nd to May 24th as Levi and his dad are also featured in their twoonie drive promotion in all 300 Staples stores across Canada to raise money for Special Olympics programs.
