A Big 80s Night THANK YOU!
On Saturday, November 18th, Gledhill School Council hit 88 mph, traveled back in time and held our 1st 80s Dance Party and Silent Auction. It was a huge success and we raised about $5000 for Gledhill Council funded programs.
The council wants to thank all the parents, friends, teachers and community members, including Janet Davis, who came out to support our school.
A totally tubular thank you goes out to Chantal, Marni, Scarlett and Melissa who certainly know how to put on a rad event.
A huge thank you also goes out to The Royal Canadian Legion and to DJ Rhino who kept us dancing well past midnight with those retro tunes. Also, to everyone who purchased auction items and who donated to our auction – thank you for helping our event be such a success!
Finally, thank you to the parents who donated their time helping out at the event.
Please see HERE for a complete list of donors.
