Highlights from this today’s announcements:

• Good morning!  Please stand for the land acknowledgement and remain standing for O Canada
• We acknowledge we are hosted on the lands of the Mississaugas of the Anishinaabe , the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Wendat.  We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Metis and Inuit Peoples.

• Today is Thursday Sept 5 and it is Day 3 in our schedule.  Our character theme for September is Respect and here is something to think about.  “Tolerance only for those who agree with you in no tolerance at all.”- Ray Davis
• Thank you for listening, here are the morning announcements:
• All music students in Grades 3-5 are reminded to bring in their recorders as soon as possible.  Grade 2/3 classes do not.
• Bordenball team and schedule will be posted outside the gym.  Schedules will be handed out to each participant.
• The first soccer tryout will be next week.  The schedule will be posted outside the gym and it is not too late to come out!  Open to grade 4 and 5 girls.
