Highlights from this today’s announcements:

• Good morning!  Please stand for the Land Acknowledgement and our National Anthem.
• We acknowledge we are hosted on the lands of the Mississaugas of the Anishinaabe , the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Wendat.  We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Metis and Inuit Peoples.

• Today is Wednesday Sept 18 and it is Day 2 in our schedule.  Our character theme for September is Respect and here is something to think about.  “To be one, to be united is a great thing.  But to respect the right to be different is maybe even greater.” – Bono
• all Bordenball players, please check the schedule and make sure you attend your games. – Ms. Pace
• Soccer team for girls has been posted.  Practice is Friday at 8:15am. – Ms. Pace
• Reminder to staff of Division Meetings today at lunch.  Everyone please come to the library.
• Ms. Bambrick has an announcement: Prefects Team A and Kindie Helpers Team B.  Meeting for new Kindie Helpers at first recess.
