On behalf of parent council, we wanted to provide an update on our virtual silent auction, taking place THIS WEEK. In the first 4 days of 8 we have raised over $1,400.00!!!

There is still plenty to bid on so don’t miss your chance to get some great items (that you might be spending on anyways) and maybe at a reduced price. Thanks to our generous community businesses, parents, and staff, exciting items include a birthday party sports package with Mr. Webb, Family Yoga in the school yard with Ms. Jeens, summer camps, kids clothing, games and toys, cold plunge experience, art, parent coaching, comedy classes, ice cream, restaurants, cultural experiences, home décor, tennis, indoor playground passes, an F45 gym membership, front row tickets to Gledhill’s winter concert, themed gift baskets and SO MUCH MORE!!!

HOW CAN I BID?

Create an account with your name and email (so you can receive emails that track your progress and we can contact you with your prize).

You only have to pay if you win and payment will be processed by either cash or e-transfer to thegledhillguardian@gmail.com

This virtual silent auction runs until Thursday evening this week (May 30th at 8pm). Please share the link with your loved ones and community. All proceeds go directly to parent council literacy and technology initiatives for Gledhill.

If you purchased an all you can bounce bracelet via school cash online or if you’d like to purchase for $25 ahead of May 30th, come by the school yard during the following times (weather dependent)

Mon and Tues 8-9am

• East York Coffee will be available for purchase for $2 with 50% of the proceeds of will go to Gledhill fundraising

Tues 3-4pm

A friendly reminder that the deadline to preorder your BBQ & All You Can Bounce Bracelets is tomorrow, Wednesday May 22 at 11:59pm.

What you can order:

• BBQ Dinner: $8 (school cash online only by May 22)
  • $8: All beef burger with a drink and bag of chips
  • $8: Veggie burger with a drink and bag of chips
  • $8: Jumbo Beef Hot Dog with a drink and bag of chips (*Hot dog and Bun are halal)
• All you can bounce: $25 via school cash online by May 22 ($35 day of via cash & card)

Note: BBQ orders cannot be accommodated the day of the event as we need to provide final numbers to our vendor.

Pre-purchased bracelets can be picked up ahead of the event in the school yard on the following days:
Mon. May 27: 8-9am & 3-4pm
Tues. May 28: 8-9am
Rain day for pick up is Wed. May 29 8-9am & 3-4pm)
