Movie Night – How to Train Your Dragon 2

Gledhill School Council presents a screening of ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ this coming Friday, November 21st. Doors open at 6:00pm with a movie start time of 6:30pm. A door prize (a DVD copy of the movie) will be given away. Pizza and popcorn for sale.

As this is a family event, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

A healthy school involves a holistic approach where school administration, teachers, parents, students and community agencies work together to create an environment that will have a positive impact on a child’s health and learning.

On behalf of the Gledhill Mental Health Committee and with the support of Toronto Public Health, and the Continuing Education Department of the TDSB, we will be showcasing a number of Community Agencies that support children, parents and families.

Door prizes, refreshments and child care for younger children will be provided.

Examples of community agencies that will be present include:

Finally, come Sign-Up for free parenting programs led by Toronto Public Health this winter at Gledhill:

  • 􏰀Kids have Stress Too (two night, 2 hr./session scheduled for January 20 and 27, 2015)
  • The Incredible Years [for parents of children 2-8 years of age] (This is a 10-14 week 2 hr. parenting program once/week beginning in February 2015. Topics include: play, praise, rewards, limit setting, problem solving and handling difficult misbehaviour, feeling alone and stressed)
