1. Attention all Primary and Junior Choir members! Our Spring rehearsals start TOMORROW (Tues, March 18th) in the music room at lunch. 11:30 for Juniors and 12:00 for Primary. See you there!

2. The running club is meeting in much warmer temperatures at 7:45am.

3. Snow Soccer House League between Rms 21 and 22 is postponed until the field is in better condition.

1. The side walks were too icy for a run yesterday but thank you to all the runners who came out. We had a wonderful game of Dodgeball!

2. It’s too slippery for snow soccer today. It will be an indoor recess this morning and an announcement will be made for lunch.

3. Congratulations to all our Canadian Olympic Athletes. Many of you saw the gold medal women’s game yesterday. Go Canada!

1. The Phys Ed Dept is thrilled to bring the Sochi Olympics here to Gledhill. Tuesday’s events are Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge. All events take place in the gym!

1. The Gledhill Dance-a-thon is coming Wednesday, March 5. Don’t forget to ask your family and friends to sponsor you this Family Day weekend.

2. Gledhill Junior students are making a difference! We are raising money for less fortunate. Together we are working for a better world. Today is the last day for We are Love. Grades 3 and 4 are welcome to the third floor.

3. A huge congratulations to the boys basketball team who played their hearts out against Hillcrest School. Unfortunately we didn’t win but Gledhill School is so proud of your accomplishment!

1. Congratulations to the girls grade 5/6 volleyball team for a fantastic tournament. Way to go girls!

2. All you need is Love! OK Gledhill students and staff get ready. “We Are Love” is back. Items will be on sale this week – Wed, Thurs, and Fri. 3rd floor students only please come at 11 am today. All students are welcome to bring a few dollars tomorrow.

4. Math Caribou today. Participants please come to the library after the announcements

1. Reminder to the Girls Grade 5-6 volleyball team that there is a practice today at 11:30. All must attend.

2. There will be NO Ukelele kids on Monday because of the Grade 1 field trip.

1. Gledhill received a final total from the Terry Fox Foundation that includes our online donations. Gledhill should feel very proud, with generous donations totaling $6615.61 to help find a cure for cancer! Way to go Gledhill!

2. Snow soccer has started! Portable 2 plays Rm 29 today. We meet in the west field at morning recess. The first 6 players to arrive will play. We are at game 2.

3. Math Caribou is Wednesday next week. Participants please practice the game “Bomb Diffuser” and learn about mathematician Thomas Bayes. All the information can be found on the Math Caribou website.

4. Reminder to the grade 5-6 girls volleyball team of today’s practice at 11:30. All must attend.

5. Hey Gledhill, the Olympics are about to begin. Show your support for Canada by wearing red and white tomorrow (Friday). Go Canada Go!!!
