Earlier today in the media, the TDSB announced it will be hosting a number of ward forum and community consultations in the coming weeks to discuss the 2014-2015 budget and proposed recommendations to address a $12.4M funding shortfall.
The first of these Community Budget Consultation meetings will be held for members of the Inner City Advisory Committee, Parent Academies, Ward 16 Council, and Beaches-East York Constituents at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Secord Elementary School, 101 Barrington Avenue. The primary focus of this presentation will be the issues of inner city children and communities within the TDSB.
We sincerely apologize for not providing you with more notice, but meeting dates and locations were only recently confirmed.

1. Our Annual Chinese New Year parade will take place this morning at 9:15. Gung Hay Fat Choy!
2. The running club meets tomorrow at 7:45.
3. Snow Soccer House league will start this week. Stay tuned for details!
4. If you are participating in Folkfest and are a Junior student or usually eat at home please bring your lunch to Rm 27 at 11:30. If you are in daycare or a primary student and eat in the lunchroom, a teacher will come to get you at 11:55. Please wear running shoes.

2. Junior Students: Mr Wooldridge is away so band is cancelled.
3. Pizza Day : Because of the basketball tournament, Juniors will eat on the benches in the downstairs hallway, Primary will eat in the lunchroom.
