Bike Rally Success – Thank you!

This morning’s Bike Rally was a huge success. The weather was perfect and the kids had fun learning bike safety and improving skills in the school yard.

Thank you to Officer John and his team of officers who helped organize and run our bike activity stations.

Several of the officers remarked at the large turnout of parents and how smoothly it ran with so many hands on deck. Thank you so much to all the parents who came to help out! Your help running stations and keeping the bikers organized was really appreciated. The kids had a great time and hopefully learned a few things.

Thank you to Mr. Currie for all his behind the scenes organizing, collecting permission forms and colour groupings.

Finally, thank you to Steve, with Velofix for donating his time and bringing his mobile bike shop to our event. He, along with several parents were our “Bike and Helmet Check” station. Kids got their helmets adjusted, brakes tested and tires pumped.
