School Council Meeting – June 2nd

Gledhill’s next School Council meeting is taking place Tuesday, June 2nd, from 6:30-8:00 in the school library. All Gledhill parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Here is a link to Tuesday’s agenda. Contact thegledhillguardian@gmail.com if you would like to add an item to the agenda.

Gledhill Family Fest – June 19 : We Need You!

A great start! Our volunteer sign up site has been up a week and we are at 26% of the folks needed to run all of the great things planned! Our main areas of need are now the early and late shifts during the event. Thanks to those who have signed up already!

1. Reminder for Eco club: we will have our regular meeting tomorrow.

2. Strings is cancelled today.

3. All resource classes, both French and English, are cancelled for today and tomorrow due to our Review meetings.

1. Junior choir today at 11:45.

2. There is an assembly today at 10:20 in the gym.

3. Spirit squad – there is a brief meeting today in Room 24 at 11:30.

4. There will be a Young Women on the Move meeting in Mrs Duikers class at lunch.

5. All resource classes in French and English are cancelled for today.

6. A Message from Eco Club: this week is BIKE TO SCHOOL WEEK!! Bike to school with your helmet on: if Mme Leclerc takes a picture of you, you may win a Bike Sticker!

3. The last Junior Choir practice will be tomorrow at 11:45 in the music room. All members are asked to attend.

Join us for some coffee (donated by Oak Park Deli!) and conversation in the school yard tomorrow morning at 8:00. Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

Daily Announcements – Wednesday, May 20th

announcementHighlights from the morning announcements:

1. Please note that the footprint garden is planted. Thank you for taking care to go around so that our seedlings don’t get stepped on.

2. This coming Saturday is our TDSB 5K at Downsview Park. If you need a permission form please see Mme Scaife asap.

3. There will be a Young Women on The Move meeting at lunch today. See you with your lunch at 11:30!

4. Next week is Bike to School week at Gledhill and all across the TDSB.

5. Any students in Grades 3-6 wishing to make decorations for the Spring Concert are asked to come to the music room at afternoon recess and after school today.

6. The dress rehearsal for the Spring Concert will begin today at 9am.
