Family Fest – Friday June 17, 2016 – HELP NEEDED

Hello Gledhill!
Your help is needed! Our amazing Family Fest is coming up on June 17th, and we would LOVE to have some support in manning stations, selling tickets or even providing some delicious treats to sell at our food tables.
What better reason is there to book a Friday afternoon off work?
Family Fest is the school council’s main fundraiser to support the enrichment programs your kids love like Drama with Jeff, Scientist in the School and Skate Day. It’s success is due to the help of our great parent body coming together to make this day possible.

  1. Eco-tigers club is cancelled today due to a teachers workshop.
  2. Chess club meets in Room 16 today.
  3. There will be a pizza lunch and movie tomorrow at Gledhill. Youppi!
  4. If anyone is interested in purchasing a copy of the CD from the Spring Concert, please place your order to Ms Bailey by next Friday. They are $5 each. Order slips are on the board outside the music room.
  5. Tomorrow is the last day of BIKE TO SCHOOL WEEK!

  1. A message from Eco-tigers: Did you know it’s bike to school week? Biking is a great, fun, healthy way to get around and keep the air clean! Each time you bike to school, you can write your name on a draw prize ticket which are carried by Eco-tigers at the front and the back of the school each morning. You could win a new bell or helmet! Ride on Gledhill!!
  2. Did you know Gledhill had it’s most successful track and field year this very year? Congratulations everyone!
  3. Today is the last Karate Kids. Have fun!
  4. Remember: this Friday is pizza day and movie night.
  5. This is a reminder for Badminton club: we play tomorrow morning. See you there!

  1. From Ms Smith: If you have not already done so, can the track and field members please return their jerseys to Room 20 ASAP. Thanks!
  2. Hey Gledhill! Next week is Bike-to-school week. If you ride your bike to school you can help keep the air clean and be entered to win draw prizes!
  3. Co-ed soccer team: please come to room 28 at 11:40. See you there.
  4. Chess club grades 2 and 3 meet at lunch. Grades 4-6 meet after school. Both meet in room 16.
  5. Don’t forget the Spring Concert is tonight at 6pm. Performers need to be at school by 5:45.
