  • A message from the Eco-Team:  the battery recycle barrel has arrived.  Please feel free to drop off small used batteries when they lose they charge, anytime.

  • Terry Fox Trivia- Day 2- Did you know that Terry’s diet consisted of very large meals throughout each day, as he burned so many calories from his daily run of 42 kms.
  • don’t forget to wear your Terry Fox shirt or Gledhill Spirit wear this Friday for our school walk!
  • Pledge forms can be put in the FOX BOX anytime this week.  The more money, the more challenges your teachers will participate in!

  • Today is the start of the Rugby World Cup in Tokyo, Japan.  This event takes place every 4 years and each team tries to represent the core values of rugby, which are: integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect.  Canada is ranked 23rd in the world and will take on two time defending champion, the New Zealand Allblacks.  Good luck Canada!

  • Curriculum Night Event 2019- Once again on Curriculum Night, we will sell glow necklaces for $2.  As you heard at the school assembly, we are looking to change things up this year!  So, we encourage you to bring a flashlight and wear a bright coloured shirt to help light up the night to support the fight against cancer!  We are selling the rest of the glow necklaces we currently have and will no longer sell them after this event, as we work towards lessening our negative impact on the environment.  The sale of glow necklaces will take place right after school that day, and if there are any left, we will sell them at night!  See you September 12th.  Please take part in this important event and bring the whole family!  We will meet outside in the backyard of the school, immediately following Curriculum night.  Proceeds will go to the Terry Fox Foundation.  Let’s work on beating our goal of $5000!
