Bikes, books, bouncy castles: Help Wanted!

There’s a little over a month left of this school year, which means there’s now a limited number of times for you to show your Gledhill love and volunteer at the school.  Please look at these opportunities and share widely!
Bikes!
Our annual Bike Rally is Thursday, June 8th. The bike rally is a fun and practical way to teach bike safety to the kids.  There is a morning session and afternoon session, and parents can do one or both. Please contact Andrea Egan at  nichols_andrea@hotmail.com if you would like to volunteer.
Books!
It’s quite possible you’ve already seen evidence of the hard work of the Gledhill librarian, Ms Kopka — in the great books your kids bring home, in the Google slide shows they teach you to make, in the robots they’ve constructed out of Lego, or even in their media-savvy attitudes about the world around them.  Ms Kopka is always busy and could really use our help in organizing and shelving books as we come to the end of the year.  Please let her know if you can spare a couple of hours in the library.  Her email is agnieszka.kopka@tdsb.on.ca
Bouncy castles!
The Gledhill Family Fest is on Friday, June 16, after school.  They are looking for a wide range of volunteers.  This is always a fun event, and it’s an opportunity for people who work during the day to volunteer a bit too!  (Lucky!)
Here’s how signing up to volunteer  works in 3 easy steps:
1) Click this link to see our SignUp on SignUp.com: http://signup.com/go/yIchFII
2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
3) Sign up! It’s Easy – you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com.
Note: SignUp.com does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Leslie at leslierightathome@gmail.com and she can sign you up manually.

Shout Out for Family Fest Marketplace Vendors

This year’s Family Fest is scheduled for Friday, June 16 and as usual we are planning a dynamic Market Place. Do you or someone you know have a family friendly business you’d like to promote or products you’d like to sell?

Vendor tables are $40 for Gledhill Parents and $50 for Non-Parents. Inquiries can be made to Melissa at melissahillier@hotmail.com
