  1. Gledhill Tiger spirit gear is currently on sale for 20% off until November 26th. All orders of $50 or more ship to your house for free (and Entripy uses UPS so no worries about mail not coming) Also, in order for the deliveries to arrive by Christmas, orders must be placed by Dec 2nd. You can find further details on Mr Webb’s website or if you have any questions please contact him at the school.
  2. All basketball team members are reminded to check Mr Webb’s website Sunday evening to confirm practice schedule for next week. We continue to get ready for our Nov 30th tournament all day at Gledhill.
  3. Students are reminded that the game “Pile On” is not allowed since many children are getting hurt at recess.

Tonight’s the Night! – 90s Dance Party and Silent Auction

Bring your friends and come out to The Royal Canadian Legion at 1240 Woodbine at 7:30pm tonight! It’s going to be a great night of music, dance and auction excitement all while raising money for our school council funded programs like Scientist in the School, Drama with Jeff and Prologue Theatre Performances.

  2. Reminder that the boys 4/5 Volleyball team should come to the gym at 12 noon today.
  3. Good Morning Gledhill! We are here to talk to you about the Enchanted Forest book fair where you let your imagination grow! The book fair runs until Wednesday, November 21st. It is open from 8:30-11:30 each day, but closed at recess. A special family event will take place tonight, Thursday, November 15th from 3:30 until 6:00 (during parent teacher interviews). All students received a flyer with a ballot. Submit your ballot when you visit the book fair on today or Monday for a chance to win $25 worth of book for yourself and $25 for your classroom. The draw will take place Monday after school and the lucky winner will be announced Tuesday morning. Teachers, please sign up online for classroom visits.
  4. A message from the Eco Team: Hi everyone, we all know that plastic bags are causing big problems for animals in our lakes, rivers and oceans. We invite you to email Mme. Leclerc a photo of one of your family members shopping for groceries with reusable bags. We will post your photo on the Eco Club board and enter you in a draw for an Eco Friendly Prize. chantal.leclerc@tdsb.on.ca
