School Council Meeting Minutes – Tuesday October 15th, 2019

Thanks to everyone that joined the school council meeting, it was quite productive and an extensive list of priorities was compiled. These will be discussed further at the next council meeting Thursday November 21st (mark your calendars)

Lost and Found Area

Our newly organized Lost and Found area is located on the lower level of the school.

Parents, guardians and students, please take extra care when looking for item so we can keep the Lost and Found area clean and organized.

If you are able, please include student’s names and rooms numbers on their items at school, this helps get items directly returned to the child.

  • From Ms. Smith- I would like to congratulate Gledhill’s Cross Country Team on a wonderful day at Ashbridge’s Bay yesterday for the South Conference Finals.  Once again, I am very proud of how everyone behaved and the effort you all put forth, especially since it was so cold and windy.  We have four students who advanced to the City of Toronto Finals on Thursday October 24th- 2 grade four girls who placed 7th and 11th, as well as 2 grade five boys who place 1st(Such Conference Champion) and 2nd(silver medalist).  Qualifiers please meet me for our next practice on Monday at 8am.  Great job everyone!

Agenda – Gledhill School Council Meeting – Tuesday October 15th

Date: October 15, 2019

Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Location: Gledhill School Library, 2nd Floor

ALL Parents and Guardians are welcome to attend all or part of the meeting and all are considered members of the Council!

Pizza will be served.  Childcare will be provided. If your children are attending, please stay to help clean up the space that they are in when the meeting is over.

 Note if the door is locked – please ring the bell and the caretaker will let you in.

    • Background – Annually the school council provides some funds to the school to beautify the school, this mainly includes the outdoor planters which are updated seasonally.
