The treaty that was signed for this particular parcel of land is collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties of 1923 and applies to lands east of Woodbine Avenue. I also recognize the enduring presence of Aboriginal peoples on this land.”

1. Thank you to all girls who tried out for our basketball team. I will post a list of those who made it on my website and outside my office by the end of the day. – Mr Webb  (Note: his website mentions that the first team meeting is tomorrow – Friday morning at 8:30am).
2. A reminder to Grade 4 and 5 boys interested in volleyball please meet Mrs. Pace at 8:15 tomorrow morning in the gym. Please remember your running shoes.

2. Grade 4 and 5 boys who signed up for volleyball please meet Mrs. Pace at 8:15 on Friday in the gym. Please come prepared to play volleyball.

1. Hi Everyone! Please look for our new marker box on the main floor. (near the battery recycling bin) If your markers or pens are used up, they can be collected for recycling too. Thank you! From the Eco Team.

2. Halloween may be over, but the coffin for the scary, dead batteries will be around for another week. Please bring in your dead batteries soon for proper recycling. Thanks! From the Eco-Team
3. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the We Scare Hunger Food Drive. The food has been collected from the classrooms, sorted by students and teachers and will be picked up today by The Daily Bread Food Bank

1. In November, we celebrate Indigenous Education Month at the TDSB. This month provides an opportunity to centre Indigenous perspectives, histories and contemporary realities across the curricula. In classrooms across the city, we focus on treaties, the legacy of residential schools, as well as the achievements and accomplishments of Indigenous peoples’ in Canada. Over the course of this month, students, staff and community members will be recognizing a number of important days to deepen knowledge and learn together about our shared history and build stronger relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada
