1. Grade 2 and 3 Makerspace meets today at lunch. Students please eat your lunch in the lunchroom or daycare. A teacher will pick you up at 11:45.

3. Congratulations to K and H in Rm 27 and C in Rm 26 who knew that  “Let It Snow” was composed by Jules Styne. Please see Mrs. Bailey for your prize. The new question is now posted in the Music Room and will be up for two weeks.

2. Today’s “How to Green Your Holidays” hot chocolate winner is “J” from Rm 20. His wonderful idea is to make a donation to an environmental charity as a gift instead of buying things. Thanks for this idea! There are lots of great charities that do work for animals, ecosystems and water. Your hot chocolate will arrive later today.

2. Today’s “How to Green your Holiday” Hot chocolate winner is “S” from Rm 29. She suggests: Use ornaments made of natural materials and avoid buying ornaments that are made of plastic. Thanks for your idea! We know that many types of plastics cannot be recycled. Your hot chocolate will arrive sometime this afternoon.

2. A message from the Eco-Club: To reduce energy consumption, each Thursday at lunchtime, Eco Club members will be conducting school-wide light monitoring. Please remember to turn off lights, open window coverings and save our resources. Thank you!

2. Makerspace forms for the January session can be picked up from the library this week. All forms are due back next Wednesday. If you have already had a turn and want to join again, come to the library this week and put your name on a waiting list.
3. Calling all readers! Forest of Reading will be starting after the holidays. If you are interested in joining, please come to a brief meeting in the library this morning at recess. Bring all your outdoor gear with you. You will be going outside.
4. Eco Club will meet tomorrow, Thursday, December 14th at the beginning of lunch outside  Rm 6. See you then!
